Student Research Opportunities (two funded projects)

Want to do research with direct environmental policy relevance?   I have funded student positions available in our Masters and PhD programs for two social science projects.  I need: 1) one Masters student to conduct research on community energy planning in the City of London as part of the SSHRC-funded Community Energy Knowledge and Action Partnership CEKAP project – see details here.  In addition to funding provided by Western, this position includes a paid summer internship.  2) Masters and PhD students to conduct research on community-based renewable energy development (wind turbines) as part of the SSHRC-funded Communities Around Renewable Energy Projects (COAREP) – see details here.  Learn more about Western Geography and Environment’s graduate programs and how to apply for Masters and PhD degrees, and consider that you can also be part of the collaborative program in Environment and Sustainability – please contact me if you are interested.
