Dr. Isaac Luginaah is the Canada Research Chair in Health Geography and Professor at Western University in the Department of Geography and Environment.
Dr. Luginaah has a broad range of research interests and expertise. His lab, the Environment, Health and Hazards Lab, has a number of students similarly studying a wide range of research topics. He mentors students both in the Environment and Sustainability and Migration and Ethnic Relations Collaborative Graduate Programs. Dr. Luginaah is also actively involved with research programs at Western such as Western Heads East and the Africa Institute among others.
Dr. Luginaah was the Editor of the journal African Geographical Review and remains very involved in both the African and Health Geography communities in North America.
